Knuckles sure looks funny and way to big to be Knuckles at the same time if they made Elves Bigger that be can Good and Better to have Tall Elves while Knuckles can have some problems by other fans about being The Heroic Brute
My reasoning is because he's gotten the WORST flanderization out of all the characters and has been reduced to a butt monkey and the big dumb guy who punches things only difference here is that it was never this blatant.
All the other characters are fine. Of course, we are members of a fanbase that has the tendency to overreact to the most basic things. Knuckles has the worst design because it just doesn't fit for some reason.
Knuckles looks like the Sonic version of Arnold Schwarzenegger.. And I LOVE IT!! It makes him look like the big, strong muscle he's supposed to be. ^^ I'm used to his redesign. ^^ I hope they make Knuckles SUPER funny in the show. XD
Sonic is really growing up. He is one of the few Video Game Characters, who actually grows up. In the start, he was Classic Sonic, who looked mostly like a kid, maybe about 10 years old or so. Then, he became Modern Sonic, who looks like a 15-year old, which fits his supposed age. And now, he's become Sonic Boom Sonic, who looks like about 17-18-19 years old, or more? In other words: Sonic grows up as a video game character, which makes him even more special than he already is! I wonder if SEGA is gonna make more future games using THIS Sonic? Or will they only use him once, and then make the other games with Modern Sonic again? Maybe that's what people wondered about, when Modern Sonic was created. But who knows?
Ugh... Right in the childhood of SatAM. Now if it is AoSTH, that they are trying to continue, then, yay.
I can deal with Knuckles redesign, sure; Even Sonic's design is... decent, I have no serious complaints there either.
But the way Miles is designed, both physically and character (personality) wise. It seems as though they have removed most of his intelligence and made him look like a 6 year old. It almost seems as though SEGA wants the fanbase to hate Miles. At least in SatAM, there were plans of bringing Miles into the main plot and making him useful. As for Amy, bleh, I've always had a distaste for her personality.
Either way, SEGA is doing a bang up job in designing this series for the 6 - 11 year old fanbase; I'm sure they'll latch on to this rather quickly.
I have nothing against the series, but I think that the trailer portrayed this show a bit badly. However, my judgements are not set in stone; I will wait for the show to actually air a few episodes before I hate/love this series.
